Our History

  Established in 2019, the Ohio Legislative Children’s Caucus is a bipartisan, bicameral, issues-based caucus devoted to championing children’s issues in the state legislature.

We recognize that the future of Ohio’s children rests, in large part, on the decisions that Ohio’s leaders make on their behalf. Our aim is to ensure every Ohio child is cared for, healthy, educated, fed, nurtured, and supported to thrive and reach their full potential in life.

As a caucus, we build bipartisan collaboration to move the needle on issues impacting child well-being through concrete legislative action and decision-making that is evidence-based and research-driven.
